Shape Theory Studio offers bisque and glaze firings for both members and non-members.

Please review before booking your kiln!

Kiln Dimensions

Full Kiln (7 cubic ft / 22" x 22" x 25")

Half Kiln (3.5 cubic ft / 22” x 22” x 12”)

Single Shelf (19” x 19” x 6”)

Bisque Firings

We bisque to Cone 06.

(If you purchase a full kiln, you may choose the temperature of your firing.)

***All work must be bone dry and ready to fire upon drop-off. We will NOT accept leather hard or wet work.

Glaze Firings

We glaze at Cone 5/6.

(If you purchase a full kiln, you may choose the temperature of your firing - up to cone 6.)

***Make sure all glaze has been carefully removed from the bottom of your piece. You may be charged an additional fee if glaze runs onto our kiln shelves, requiring grinding or replacement of shelves.

Estimated Time Frames

Appointments are for dropping off work only.

Your work will be ready for pickup based on the estimated time frames below:

Full Kiln - up to 14 days

Half kiln - up to 4 weeks

Single shelf - up to 4 weeks
